The statistical analysis of the wastewater data is compiled in weekly reports that provide information about the virus at the sewershed, ZIP code, and manhole levels.
These weekly reports are then combined with other surveillance data and shared with city leadership and used within the health department to target public health interventions and resources. Descriptions of the uses are provided in chapter 3 of the Best Practices document.
